Aqua Play!
This is a gross motor play group in the water. Your child will move to music while playing games in very shallow water, which provides sensory feedback in a therapeutic way to encourage new movements. This is not a swimming group! It is meant for children with developmental delays and/or autism spectrum disorder. The child must feel comfortable being in the water independently, as one-to-one assistance cannot be provided.
Dates: Mondays, with dates to be set based on enrollment.
Times: 4:00 pm—4:45 pm for
ages 5 to 7
5:00 pm—5:45 pm for ages 8 to 10.
Fee: $75 for a 6-week session.

Saturday Cartoons
Cartoonist, Matt Smeltzer will show you how to design your own characters, draw exaggerated expressions, and create a comic strip. This course is perfect for ages 8 – 12.

A playful energy burner, this creative flow will have young ones moving and grooving! Through dance, theatrics and vocalization, we will embrace, explore, and expand the self esteem, confidence, gifts and talents of each jammer!

Legos® & Duplos® Day
Bring your Legos® & Duplos® and hang out with us in a nice air conditioned space. We will have certificates for various design categories. (Healthy snack will be served)

Get your child prepared for Kindergarten in this hands-on printing program based on the “Handwriting Without Tears” curriculum. We will use song, movement & other media in learning to form capital letters. All classes are led by an occupational therapist. Materials are included, as well as a book to use at home!

Bike & Wheelchair Rodeo
We will have obstacle courses set up as well as bike and wheelchair inspection. You can also decorate your bike or wheelchair. We will award certificates for various categories.

Pieters Family Life Center’s Youth Wellness Camp
Having trouble getting your kids away from the computer, video games, and movies? Being physically active is essential to good health and it is important for youth to get into the habit of being active. The Pieters Family Life Center’s Youth Wellness Camp will provide campers the opportunity to be physically active in a fun, supportive, and recreation based way. This camp will provide:
1. Participation in fun games that promote physical
activity.
2. Hands-on activities on how to make healthy snacks.
3. Music, Dance, and Art activities that promote expression and creativity.
4. Fun activities that educate campers on important health information.
All campers will receive a Pieters Family Life Center water bottle and a Pieters Family Life Center activity packet of fun exercises that can be done at home by the whole family.

Old Fashioned Family Picnic
Food & fun for the whole family. We will have old fashioned games such as: Sack Races, Three Legged Race, Tug of War, Obstacle Course, etc. Food and beverages will be provided.
