Direct Support Professional Credentialing
Bring professionalism to your direct support staff with the This program is an internet-based certification course created by the University of Minnesota that addresses 12 competency areas in the field of developmental disabilities.
The College of Direct Support offers interactive programs and exams covering topics such as advocacy; empowerment; communication; community living skills and supports; vocational, education and career support; and documentation.
Upon completion of the program, participants receive a certificate, which will soon become a nationally recognized credential.

Regulatory Training
Our member agencies are responsible for providing support staff with specific training that is regulated by the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (OMRDD). The following listings represent the regulatory training offered by DDEN:
